Coverfly, a searchable script database that recommends writers to studios, producers, managers, literary agents and executives looking to find emerging, yet unsigned writing talent, has chosen Ali MacLean’s award-winning dark comedy pilot for their Live Read series.
Coverfly partnered with the Storytellers Conservatory via the Screen Actor’s Guild, to host robust virtual live reads of stand out scripts.
MacLean’s dark, comedic tale about women who date men in prison, which recently won an honorable mention from the Sidewalk Film Festival and was workshopped at the Stowe Story Labs, is slated for a reading on Friday, July 30th.
