Ali’s latest play is a short look at an age-old topic – misogyny.
MacLean describes the piece as: “funny, disturbing, and a fuck you to David Mamet.” The play involves two lawyers deciding the worth of a woman’s life…while hitting on their waitress.
The 7×7 series at The Tank is led by Brett Epstein.
MacLean was given seven different prompts to use, as are the rules in the 7×7 series, and a few days to come up with a ten-minute play. The playwrights are given different prompts and write a play that is then performed by a cast within the week. . The play is directed by Talia Feldberg and produced by Brett Epstein.
