Ali MacLean has been selected for the prestigious 2021 Stowe Story Labs.
From hundreds of applications, MacLean’s project, a dark comedy television series called Lady Killer, was one of the 30 projects that was selected for the 2021 creative workshop.
MacLean also received an honorable mention and cash prize for the Sidewalk Film Fellowship for the Stowe Story Labs.
Stowe Story Labs is a non-profit effort to bring screenwriters, filmmakers and creative producers together with seasoned, working industry professionals to get work made and seen. The 2021 Stowe Story Labs Sidewalk Film Festival Fellowship will be dedicated to a top emerging screenwriter or filmmaker who presents a meaningful character-driven story focused on underrepresented voices.
