MacLean’s acclaimed pilot, Lady Killer, which examines prison dating and America’s obsession with violence, has been named a semi-finalist by the esteemed Stowe Story Labs.
Stowe Story Labs brings screenwriters, filmmakers, and creative producers together with seasoned industry professionals to help get projects made and seen. The Sidewalk Lab is being built in partnership with the team at the Sidewalk Film Festival.
MacLean’s darkly comedic satire is up for a Sidewalk fellowship. This four-day intensive program will introduce writers to key considerations when adapting works for the screen.
