
Ali MacLean’s award-winning and critically acclaimed play She’s Not There got an update in the form of a film adaptation and was given a live read at Theatre West last Saturday. The show, presented by the GreenLight Women organization was part of MacLean’s participation in the International Women’s Writers Group. The show was followed by a Q&A with Ali, lead actors Brent and Carly, and Sarah Haufrect from the local chapter of NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The screenplay’s presentation, directed by MacLean, starred Carly Chaikin, Brent Morin, Logan Marshall Green, Stephen Tobolowsky, Josh Meyers, Ari Wojciech, Juliet Lopez, Arden Lewis, Arye Gross, and Marcelo Tubert.

The show was highly received and profiled in Broadway World as well as promoted by NAMI and even some cast members.
