After being given an introduction and a prompt, Maclean was given the task of writing a monologue overnight for Broadway veteran, as part of the 24 Hours Viral Monologue charity event. What followed was Butler’s hilarious rendition of MacLean’s ‘Bit’s N Pieces”.
The monologue will be available on the 24 Hour Plays instagram at @24hourplays, as well as their Facebook and Youtube page, until December 19th. They join over writers and performers such as Matthew Broderick, Willie Garson, Hugh Dancy, Will Arbery, Jen Silverman, J. Julian Christopher, and Kenneth Lonergan. Proceeds from the event go to the non-profit You Gotta Believe.
