Ali Maclean’s multi award-winning play, Wolves at the Door, is the winner of the Long Beach Playhouse New Works Festival.
Wolves at The Door is a searing look at an incel fueled mass shooting and a family grieving in its wake–topics which continue to remain relevant every day in American society.
Wolves was previously developed, in part, at Antaeus Theater Lab, EST/LA, The Road Theater, and won the Julie Harris Playwright Award. It was also a finalist for the O’Neill Theater Conference, as well as: Pegasus Playlab, New American Voices, Scranton Shakespeare Festival, Creede Rep Headwaters Festival, Alleyway Theatre Maxim Mazundar Prize, Kitchen Dog, and Pipeline.
Wolves will be presented by LBP on March 28th, 2026 at 7pm at the Long Beach Playhouse, followed by a talkback with the playwright and director.
